The current review presents recent progress in the synthetic utility of  bis -(4-amino-5-mercapto[1,2,4] triazoles) as building blocks for a diverse range of  bis -fused [1,2,4]triazoles such as;  bis -(triazolo-thiadiazoles),  bis (triazolo-thiadiazines),  bis( triazolo-thiadiazepines), and polymeric materials with pharmacological interest. Also, synthesis of macrocycles, containing [1,2,4]triazole subunits were demonstrated. All of these topics are drawn in this review during the period from 2000 to February 2022.
