UiO-66-NH 2  as a  Lewis  basic MOF catalyzed three-component reaction of 1 H -tetrazole-5-amine, 3-cyanoacetyl indole and aromatic aldehydes for the preparation of tetrazolo[1,5- a ]pyrimidine-6-carbonitriles at 100 °C under solvent-free conditions. After reaction course, UiO-66-NH 2  MOF can be recycled and reused without any apparent loss of activity which makes this process cost effective and hence ecofriendly.
