This intercultural study examines the visitors’ perception of two tea museums in Iran and Malaysia. The method used for that is explanatory (quantitative-qualitative). Quantitative and qualitative data were collected in a single study but in two separate stages. By designing the questionnaire, quantitative data were collected from the visitors of the two museums, which provided a basis for designing the qualitative part of the research, which was the result of personal observations of the researchers from the two museums, their narration, and in-depth interviews with 16 visitors from both museums. In the end, combining the results of the quantitative and qualitative sections led to a better understanding of the research problem and deepening its findings. The results and findings showed that sensory-semantic richness, functional richness, and spatial rhythm are among the factors affecting tourists’ perception of tea museums.
