In this study, flower-like MoS 2 /CoFe/C ternary composites are successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method, and the synthesized composites are characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy-dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), Raman spectrometer and vector network analyzer (VNA). The results indicate that the dielectric and magnetic loss and electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption capacity are dramatically enhanced by the introduction of CoFe alloys and C. An effective bandwidth (RL&lt;-10 dB) of 6.28 GHz (7.68–13.96 GHz) can be achieved at a thickness of 4 mm; meanwhile, it exhibits a minimum RL of −26.5 dB with a 7 mm thickness at 4.9 GHz. At various thicknesses, the effective bandwidth of MoS 2 /CoFe/C covers a wide band range of 3.7–18 GHz. The mechanisms underlying the EM wave absorption and related phenomena are analyzed in detail.
