This article describes a program session covering the unique ways in which librarians can form increasingly collaborative partnerships with researchers at their institution. Specifically, session leaders drew from the six stages of the academic publishing lifecycle – Research, Write, Review, Publish, Distribute, and Read – to illustrate how librarians can assist tenure-track faculty throughout the publishing process beyond common practices in data access, discovery, and preservation.
