In this study, in order to remove of toxic Cr(VI) metal ions from aqueous solutions, threeSPION@SiO 2 -N 1 -BODIPY, SPION@SiO 2 -N 2 -BODIPYandSPION@SiO 2 -N 3 -BODIPYnanoparticle adsorbents nanoparticle adsorbents with different amino groups were compared/investigated.The adsorption parameters such ascontact time, initial Cr (VI) concentration, adsorbent dosage, pH, and temperature experiments were investigated and also nanoparticle adsorbents with different amine groups were compared.The results showed that the nanoparticle containig more amines groups adsorbed more Cr(VI) with less dose amount used. When the adsorption capacity of  SPION@SiO 2 -N 1 -BODIPY, SPION@SiO 2 -N 2 -BODIPY and  SPION@SiO 2 -N 3 -BODIPY  were compared to ones reported in the literatures, our nanoparticle adsorbents have the maximum adsorption capacities of 23.981, 33.003 and 43.478 mg/g at pH 2.0 and 25°C, respectively.The equilibrium data obtained wereexamined with various kinetics and isotherms equations.It is concluded that the adsorption processes of three nanoparticle adsorbents, Pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir models are well described.Briefly, the results showed thatSPION@SiO 2 -N 1 -BODIPY, SPION@SiO 2 -N 2 -BODIPYandSPION@SiO 2 -N 3 -BODIPYnanoparticle adsorbents can be a great promise as effective adsorbents by removing toxic Cr(VI) metal ions from aqueous solutions and also determining the adsorption capabilities of nanoparticle adsorbents with different amine groups will help future studies.
