Reflection and transmission phenomena at a plane interface between an initially stressed magneto-thermoelastic rotating solid half-space with microtemperatures and an initially stressed magneto-thermoelastic rotating solid half-space, have been investigated. The two half-spaces are assumed to be in welded contact. The amplitude and energy ratios for various reflected and transmitted waves have been presented in closed form and the numerical computations are carried out with the help of MATLAB software. For a particular model, the numerical values of the moduli of reflection and transmission coefficients are depicted graphically to estimate and highlight the effects of rotation, microtemperature parameter and magnetic field. The expressions of energy ratios obtained in the explicit form are shown graphically as functions of the angle of incidence. It is verified that during the reflection/transmission phenomenon, the sum of energy ratios is equal to unity at each angle of incidence.
