The present investigation is concerned with the reflection of plane waves from the free surface of a rotating nonlocal, fiber-reinforced, transversely isotropic thermoelastic medium in the context of Lord-Shulman theory. It has been observed that three coupled plane waves travel in the medium with distinct speeds. Using appropriate boundary conditions, the amplitude ratios for the reflected waves are derived and the numerical computations have been carried out using MATLAB software. The modulus of amplitude ratios is presented graphically to exhibit the effects due to presence of fiber-reinforcement, nonlocal and rotation parameters. The expressions of energy ratios have also been derived in explicit form and are portrayed graphically as functions of angle of incidence. The phase velocities of plane waves in transversely isotropic medium are found to depend upon the incident angle, whereas these attain constant values in isotropic medium. The energy conservation law is also justified during the reflection phenomena.
