We, the Editor and Publisher of  Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology , have retracted the following article: Nabih I. Elkhouly, Nasser K. Abdelaal, Ayman E. Solyman, Osama A. Elkelani, Bahi F. Elbasueny &amp; Alaa F. Elhalaby (2022) A new technique for uterine incision closure at the time of caesarean section: does it make a difference?,  Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology ,  42:3, 416–423,  DOI:   10.1080/01443615.2021.1910636 Since publication, significant concerns have been raised about the validity of the statistical analysis and reported results in the article. When approached for an explanation, the authors fully cooperated with the investigation and provided responses to our queries. However, they did not sufficiently address the concerns raised and they were unable to provide their original data for review. As the study includes inaccuracies in the statistical analysis and the journal has been unable to assess the raw data, we are therefore retracting the article. The authors do not agree with the retraction. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
