Numeous automobiles and demand for electricity led to increased demand for petroleum products, which triggered an oil crisis. This work makes the efforts to prepare viable biodiesel from Juliflora seeds oil using the transesterification process and evaluate its properties with ASTM standards. Tests are conducted for the Juliflora methyl ester (JFME 20) blend at injection pressures such as 200, 220 and 240 bar. Experimental results revealed 2.62% higher brake thermal efficiency for JFME20 operated at 220 bar compared to JFME20 run at 200 bar. Moreover, the engine tailpipe emissions, such as HC, CO, and SO, are significantly reduced by 23.68%, 56.86% and 2.75%, respectively, for the JFME20 220 bar compared to diesel. Furthermore, the use of 20% EGR to the JFME20 220 bar shows noteworthy reductions in NO X  emissions by 22.32% and 17.71% compared to JFME20 220 bar and diesel fuel at full load.
