A combination of PV module and the solar collector is the best idea to overcome the low efficiency and the high cost of the energy system when one of the two solar energy systems is working individually. In this paper, the PV/T is taken into account. Because of the equation’s high complication and nonlinearities, it is a hard job to investigate the impact of each parameter on the collector’s thermal and electrical efficiencies. The effects of various types of effectual parameters including geometric variables, climate conditions; the mass flow rate of water, and the temperature of the inlet water are analysed in this work. The geometric variables considered include the impacts of the collector thickness, tube width, and tube spacing of the collector. Numerous graphs show the results and explain them extensively. Another important point is the design of the PV/T; the research used the Tree-seed algorithm (TSA) which is the technique used for presenting optimization design of the PV/T module regarding improving both of the collector’s thermal and electrical efficiencies. The PV/T module design parameters include the mass flow rate, tube width, tube spacing, absorber conductivity, and packing factor. The results show the high thermal and electrical efficiency of the proposed design.
