The aim of this work is to study the qualitative effect of temperature on the magnetic field generated due to the differential heating of the insulators. The variations of the thermomagnetic field, with respect to temperature, are studied by analysing the thermal profile for various radiations. Thermo-magnet is a device, which can generate a magnetic field between two insulators of varying thermal resistivity. The magnetic field generated is dependent on the temperature gradient (ΔT), distance between the insulators (d), dielectric constant (k) and relative permeability (µr) of the medium between the insulators, and the thermal resistivity of both the insulators (RλA and RλB) This will be more suitable for the space applications where there is a high possibility of the source for thermomagnetic applications.
