The utilisation of fossil fuels is escalating very rapidly and parallel to that its effects towards the global economy of the country are also increasing which have forced the researchers to search for an alternative fuel which could play the same role as of the fossil fuels and decrease the emerging global warming threats for the world. The use of biodiesel is considered to be a better replacement for this problem. The study and the alternative fuel focus on the orange oil and rice-bran biodiesels and its blends with nanoadditives on diesel engine's performance. The experimental research here shows a detailed knowledge of production, estimation of biodiesel-fuel properties and its brunt on the engine and combusted products that are obtained. The fuel was tested in engine with varieties of blends and their corresponding properties of engine performance were measured and a brief Comparison was done. Nanoadditives that were used in those blends were Al 2 O 3  (Aluminium Oxide) and CeO 2  (Cerium Oxide) both in the fraction of 150 ppm. Based on this experimental examination of Rice bran and orange oil biodiesel blends, they are utilised as a fuel in a diesel engine without implementing any alteration in the engine.
