The results of differential thermal analysis of the Se 70 Te 20 Cd 10  glass under non-isothermal settings are presented and analyzed. The heating rate affects the temperature of the glass transition ( T g), the onset temperature of crystallization ( T c) and the peak temperature of crystallization ( T p). The glass transition activation energy ( E g), the crystallization activation energy ( E c), the Hurby number ( H r) and the order parameter ( n ) were all calculated. The results show that the rate of crystallization is connected to heat stability and glass-forming capabilities for the current composition. The results indicate two-dimensional development for the composition Se 70 Te 20 Cd 10  in accordance with the Avrami exponent ( n ).
