In this paper, we introduce the new concept of nonnil-commutative diagrams (resp., nonnil-projective modules) as a generalization of commutative diagrams (resp., projective modules). We show that they behave in a way similar to the classical ones. As an application, they can be used to characterize certain classes of rings.
