To cope with the constant change of tool–work contact area caused by the constant change of workpiece surface curvature during machining surface, the tool–work contact area is evaluated, and the mathematical model of micro-texture distribution is constructed. The milling simulation is carried out by ABAQUS software. The obtained results show that the tool inclination angle is the main factor affecting the milling force, and the micro-texture diameter is the leading factor influencing the milling temperature. Subsequently, the milling experiment is carried out, and a reasonably good agreement between the observed data and the simulation results is reported. The artificial fish swarm algorithm is also exploited to optimize the parameters.
