BaTiO 3  ceramic powders are prepared by the solid phase reaction method. BaTiO 3  ceramic powders are sintered at different temperatures for 3 h. The tetragonal phase of BaTiO 3  powder is confirmed by XRD. It was found that as the sintering temperature increased, the grain size, density, and dielectric constant of BaTiO 3  ceramics increased. All the BaTiO 3  ceramic samples sintered at various temperatures for 3 h show the diffuse phase transition and the diffuseness parameter and curie-Weiss constant are also calculated. BaTiO 3  ceramic samples sintered at 1200 °C show well-grown grain boundaries. The ferroelectric nature of sintered BaTiO 3  ceramic samples studied using P-E hysteresis measurements.
