Low-fired MgTiO 3 -based ceramics were fabricated via the conventional solid-state route, and the effects of LiF-doping on their sintering mechanism and microwave dielectric properties were investigated. Addition of 4 wt% LiF enhanced the sinterability of MgTiO 3 -based ceramics and effectively lowered the sintering temperatures to 975 °C without degradation of microwave dielectric properties. Optimum microwave dielectric properties of  ρ  ∼ 3.54 g/cm 3 ,  ε r∼ 15.5, and  Q × f  ∼ 34900 GHz were obtained at 975 °C for MgTi 0.95 Sn 0.05 O 3 -4wt%LiF ceramics, which are suitable for LTCC applications.
