The depsidones, conorlobaridone (4) and conloxodin (5), have been isolated from the lichen Xanthoparmelia xanthosorediata. The structure of these compounds followed from a comparison of the spectroscopic properties with those observed for the known cogenors, norlobaridone and loxodin.
