The recent proposal of using an anisotropic vacuum for generating valleycoherence in transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) monolayers has expanded thepotential of such valley degrees of freedom for applications in valleytronics.In this work, we open up a completely new regime, inaccessible with monolayerTMDCs, of spontaneously generated valley coherence in interlayer excitons incommensurate TMDC bilayer heterostructures. Using the peculiar out of planepolarization of interlayer excitons in conjunction with an in-plane anisotropicelectromagnetic vacuum, we show that a much larger region of the Bloch spherecan be accessible in these heterostructures. We show the accessible phases ofthese excitons given this in-plane anisotropic electromagnetic vacuum. Ouranalysis of spontaneous coherence for interlayer excitons may pave the way forengineering an array of interacting quantum emitters in Moir\'eheterostructures.
