The spin Hall angle in Pt is evaluated in Pt/NiFe bilayers by spin torqueferromagnetic resonance (ST-FMR) measurements, and is found to increase withincreasing the NiFe thickness. To extract the intrinsic spin Hall angle in Ptby estimating the total spin current injected into NiFe from Pt, the NiFethickness dependent measurements are performed and the spin diffusion in theNiFe layer is taken into account. The intrinsic spin Hall angle of Pt isdetermined to be 0.068 at room temperature, and is found to be almost constantin the temperature range 13 - 300 K.
