The Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) is a balloon-borne radioexperiment designed to discover ultra-high energy cosmic neutrinos. The ANITAdetector has completed one prototype and two full-scale flights above theAntarctic continent. Two direct and fourteen reflected cosmic ray events ofultra-high energy were observed during the first full scale flight and severalothers in the second flight. We present a Monte Carlo technique and analysisdeveloped to determine the energy of the primary cosmic ray particles from theANITA data.
