Complete and physically adequate analytical and semi-analytical solutionshave been obtained using a practical dimensionless form of kinetic equationassuming azimuthal symmetry and Maxwellian distributions of target plasmaspecies. Formerly considered simplified equations with truncated Coulombcollision term do not conserve the number of particles, are inapplicable todescribe high energy distribution tails, and are also essentially unable todemonstrate the Maxwellization process naturally observed in the low energyregion of correct distributions. The results may be useful in numericalmodeling and in experimental data analysis, especially concerning nuclearprocesses and advanced localized, angle-resolved suprathermal particlediagnostics.
