It has been found experimentally that when dc current is passed through acircuit consisting of two superconductors connected in parallel and reaches itscritical value in one of the circuit branches the current in the branchesundergoes quasi-harmonic undamped oscillations. The mechanism resulting in theappearance of the self-oscillations is discussed. The characteristics ofmagnetic field freezing in a circuit with self-oscillating current areexamined.
