We present an alternative and simple method for the exact solution of theKlein-Gordon equation in the presence of the non-central equal scalar andvector potentials by using Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The exact bound stateenergy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions are obtained for a particlebound in a potential of $V(r,\theta) = \frac{\alpha}{r} + \frac{\beta}{r^2\sin^2\theta} + \gamma \frac{\cos \theta}{r^2\sin ^2\theta}$ type.Comment: 12 pages, accepted for publication in Journal of Mathematical Physic
