Dielectric permittivity and Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) studies in thefield-cooled mode show a linear dependence of dielectric stiffness (inversedielectric permittivity) on dc bias in PMN-PT crystals and SHG intensity inKTaO$_{3}$:Li at small Li concentrations.
