Hadron physics is that part of QCD dealing with hadron structure and vacuumstructure, almost all of which is nonperturbative in nature. Some of the openproblems in this field are outlined. We argue that hadron physics is a distinctsubfield, no longer within particle physics, and not at all the same asclassical nuclear physics.
