— The purpose ofthis paper is to study a water resource System concerning the quality and quantity of the water. We purpose mono and multicriteria models which specify the level of treatment imposed to the "polluant agents" and which take into account economie, social and ecologicalpotentially conflicting aspects; this procedure aims at reaching an "optimal compromise" (Pareto optimum), The software used is based on the GRG method (Gradient Réduit Généralisé) conceived by J.
