— A newformulation in Mathematical Programming is proposed, which i's well adapted to the study of discrete time évolution Systems. In this formulation, the maximum ofthe Lagrangian with respect to the control variables is directly obtained as a necessary condition for optimality. It applies without difficulty to a discrete time maximum principle in a deterministic case. It applies also to a stochastic case with afinite number ofevents.
