A new genus and a new species are described from fleas of occupied nest from humming bird, Oreotrichulus estella (d'Orbigny &amp; Lafresnaye, 1838). This taxa shows, in particular, some affinities with Dasypsyllus Baker, 1908, parasite on birds, cosmopolitan except in afrotropical and austral regions, and Smitipsylla Lewis, 1971, parasite on flying squirrels (Anomaluridae) in oriental region.
