It is significant to discuss the carbon emissions in household consumption to achieve the goal ofenergy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the CLA analysis method, this paper calculates thecarbon emissions of Chinese households in 2015 from a micro perspective, and analyzes the characteristicsand structure of household carbon emissions at different income levels in different regions. The results showthat most household carbon emissions come from direct energy, food, medical and daily necessitiesconsumption, and the proportion of these three factors in household total carbon emissions graduallydecreases with the increase of income level. At the regional level, the increase in income level does notnecessarily lead to an increase in carbon emissions. Household carbon emissions and carbon emissionstructure fluctuate with income in a certain trend.
