A Allahabad (Inde du Nord), on a preleve au printemps des echantillons d'hemolymphe dans du couvain opercule d'ouvrieres et de mâles issu de 4 colonies d'Apis cerana indica et d'une colonie d'Apis mellifera ligustica. On a en outre ouvert plus de 1 000 cellules de couvain renfermant des nymphes d'A c indica pour verifier la presence de Varroa jacobsoni, et on a note si les femelles de Varroa s'etaient reproduites. Les echantillons d'hemolymphe ont ete envoyes en Europe et leur teneur en hormone juvenile III (JH) a ete determinee par methode radio-immunologique
