We investigated the interstellar medium properties of the disc and outflowinggas in the central regions of nine nearby Seyfert galaxies, all characterisedby prominent outflows. These objects are part of the Measuring Active GalacticNuclei Under MUSE Microscope survey, which aims to probe their physicalconditions and ionisation mechanism by exploiting MUSE unprecedentedsensitivity. We studied the different properties of the gas in the disc andoutflow with spatially and kinematically resolved maps by dividing thestrongest emission lines in velocity bins. We associated the core of the lineswith the disc, consistent with the stellar velocity, and the redshifted and theblueshifted wings with the outflow. We find that the outflowing gas ischaracterised by higher values of density and ionisation parameter than thedisc, which presents a higher dust extinction. Moreover, we distinguish high-and low-ionisation regions across the portion of spatially resolved narrow-lineregion traced by the outflowing gas. The high-ionisation regions characterisedby the lowest [NII]/H{\alpha} and [SII]/H{\alpha} line ratios generally tracethe innermost parts along the axis of the emitting cones where the [SIII]/[SII]line ratio is enhanced, while the low-ionisation regions follow the cone edgesand/or the regions perpendicular to the axis of the outflows, alsocharacterised by a higher [OIII] velocity dispersion. A possible scenario toexplain these features relies on the presence of two distinct populations ofline emitting clouds: one is optically thin to the radiation and ischaracterised by the highest excitation, while the other is optically thick andis impinged by a filtered, and thus harder, radiation field which generatesstrong low-excitation lines. The highest values of [NII]/H{\alpha} and[SII]/H{\alpha} line ratios may be due to shocks and/or a hard filteredradiation field from the AGN.
