High resolution spectra of a magnified bulge star were obtained at the 8 m Kueyen VLT-UT2 telescope with the UVES spectrograph. The source is a bulge giant of baseline magnitude V E R O S = 18.4, magnified to V 18.0. These data allow us to derive the stellar parameters of effective temperature T e f f ∼ 3800 K, gravity log g ∼ 1.0, reddening E(B-V) ∼ 0.7, metallicity [Fe/H] ∼ -0.3 and and [O/Fe] 0.0 for EROS-BLG-2000-5. The giant appears to be located in the far side of the bulge.
