A facile and controllable ethanol/water aided hydrothermal process was developed to prepare the NaCaSiO 3 OH:Tb 3+ /Eu 3+ phosphor. The morphologies were in situ constructed with the phase transformation from NaCaSiO 3 OH to Na 2 Ca 2 Si 2 O 7 , and the intrinsic crystal structural transformation mechanism and the dependence of their photoluminescence tuning on the Tb 3+ /Eu 3+ ratio have been discussed.
