Recently there has been great interest in using patterned ferroelectricmaterials for the photochemical growth of metal nanostructures. Variations insurface and sub-surface structure influence the photochemical processes. Here weshow that crystallography, and hence remnant polarization, of the ferroelectricaffects photo-deposition.
