Recent results of thermodynamic studies on the complexation\udof actinides (UO22+, NpO2+ and Pu4+) with F-, SO42- and\udH2PO4-/HPO42- at elevated temperatures are reviewed. The data\udindicate that, for all systems except the 1:1 complexation of\udNp(V) with HPO42-, the complexation of actinides is enhanced\udby the increase in temperature. The enhancement is primarily\uddue to the increase in the entropy term (TΔS) that exceeds the\udincrease in the enthalpy (ΔH) as the temperature is increased.\udThese data bridge the gaps in the chemical thermodynamic\uddatabase for nuclear waste repository where the temperature\udcould remain significantly higher than 25°C for a long time\udafter the closure of the repository
