We present the results obtained from Near-UV observations of the cluster NGC5466 taken with UVIT onboard AstroSat to study the radial distribution of BlueStraggler Stars (BSSs), covering the cluster region up to a radius of 14$'$.Our study confirms that the BSSs are more centrally concentrated thanHorizontal Branch (HB) stars in the cluster. We do not find a statisticallysignificant rising trend in the radial distribution of BSSs for the outerregions, as most of the previously catalogued BSSs that are located in thecluster outskirts were found to be non-members, quasars or galaxies. This studyhighlights the importance of UV imaging combined with membership information toprobe the radial distribution of BSSs.
