Figure 7A shows representative CD3 immunohistochemistry results from the rat colon. In the right upper panel, there are relatively large numbers of CD3+ T cells (brown cellular staining, indicated by arrows) within the ulcerated area of the colon from a Vehicle/ TNBS treated rat. In contrast, the numbers of CD3+ T cells were less prominent in the colons of rats treated with Vido alone or concomitantly with Uri (see arrows in the bottom panels of figure 7A).
