ResumenEste documento estudia la importancia del clima organizacional de una empresa, medido a través de su relación con la capacidad de absorción, sobre un evento de transición tecnológica disruptiva en el mercado en que se desenvuelve. Como caso particular se analiza la migración de señal analógica a digital en los canales de televisión ecuatorianos, específicamente los que cuentan con matriz en Guayaquil. Se realizó un análisis cuantitativo bajo el modelo descriptivo, en un muestreo no probabilístico, en el cual se analizó el clima organizacional por medio de la capacidad de absorción ante la migración a TDT. Los resultados más importantes muestran una alta capacidad de absorción de la muestra estudiada, lo cual facilitará la implementación de la nueva tecnología.AbstractThis document studies the importance of the business climate in a business, analyzed through its relationship with its absorptive capacity, challenged by the transition in the market to a disruptive technology. The case of study in this paper is the transition from analog to digital signal in local television stations in Ecuador, specifically those based in Guayaquil. This was done through a quantitative analysis within a descriptive model, in which the organizational climate was measured through its absorptive capacity in the migration to Digital Television. A survey was made to general personnel of television stations in Guayaquil. The most important results show a high absortive capacity
