In the literature, there is a great variation in the cost-benefits due to the differing methodologies used in the estimation. This study aims at presenting a literature review of cost-benefit prediction methods combined with a SWOT analysis, particularly emphasising data collection and analytical approach. Findings show that the methods used in green building cost-benefit studies can be grouped into different categories in terms of data collection and analytical approach. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages with divergent capabilities.
