Recently published results of numerical simulations of positive and negativestreamers propagating in uniform electric fields in air are analyzed here inthe framework of an analytical approach. Obtained approximate relations betweenthe streamer radius, velocity and length, depending on the value of appliedelectric field, are in reasonable agreement with the results of numericalsimulations.
