Conformation dependent circular current is investigated in a single handedhelical geometry in presence of magnetic flux $\phi$ within a Hartree-Fock meanfield approach. The helical model is described by a set of non-planar ringsconnected by some vertical bonds where each ring is formed by introducing anon-zero hopping between the atoms $a$ and $b$ as shown in Fig.1. By stretchingand compressing the geometry, circular current can be regulated significantlyand thus the system can be exploited to design current controlled device at thenano-scale level. The proximity effect between the atomic sites $a$ and $b$ isalso discussed in detail which exhibits interesting results.
