Dynamical properties of materials determined using force constant expansionsin the HIPHIVE package and density functional theory as implemented in the Gpawcode. Thermal conductivity of alkaline earth tellurides was determined, and thenarrower width between amplitudons and electrical modes exhibited supersoniccooling and heat transportation, and our findings are in perfect agreement withexperimental research. When compared to the other binary crystals, BaTe appearsto offer the dual advantage of prolonged photon lifetime at normal temperatureas well as a speedier thermo-electric converter due to the tiny gap betweenamplitudons and electric modes.
