We re-derive the Nyquist theorem and Callen-Welton fluctuation-dissipationtheorem (FDT) as a consequence of detailed balance principle applied to aharmonic oscillator. The usage of electrical notions in the beginning makes theconsideration understandable for every physicists. Perhaps it is the simplestderivation of these well-known theorems in statistical physics. The classicallimit is understandable as a consequence of Waterston-Herapath equipartitiontheorem.
