It is shown that the phenomenon of irreversibility in many-body and few-bodysystems can be explained and described within the framework of the concept ofdirect (not instantaneous) interaction of particles without using probabilistichypotheses. The exact solution of the model of a two-particle classicaloscillator with retarded interaction between particles is presented. It isestablished that the interactions retardation leads to appearance of aninfinite spectrum of both stationary and non-stationary oscillations, and tonon-invariance of the solution with respect to time reversal as well.
