We compute the O(alpha_s) corrections to the Wilson coefficient of thekinetic operator in inclusive semileptonic B decays. Our analytic calculationagrees with reparameterization invariance and with previous numerical resultsand paves the way to the calculation of analogous corrections to otherpower-suppressed coefficients.
