In this talk, we discuss some general properties of particle production in afield theory coupled to strong time dependent sources, and techniques tocompute the spectrum of the produced particles in such theories. We alsodiscuss the application of these results to the description of hadron or heavyion collisions in the Color Glass Condensate framework.
