Molecular bridges covalently bonded to two ferromagnetic electrodes cantransform ferromagnetic materials and produce intriguing spin transportcharacteristics. This paper discusses the impact of molecule induced strongcoupling on spin transport. To study the molecular coupling effectorganometallic molecular complex (OMC) was bridged between two ferromagneticelectrodes of a magnetic tunnel junction (Ta/Co/NiFe/AlOx/NiFe/Ta) along theexposed side edges. OMCs induced strong iter-ferromagnetic electrode couplingto yield drastic changes in transport properties of the magnetic tunneljunction testbed at the room temperature. These OMCs also transformed themagnetic properties of magnetic tunnel junctions. SQUID and ferromagneticresonance studies provided insightful data to explain transport studies on themagnetic tunnel junction based molecular spintronics devices.
