In this paper, a specific subgrid term occurring in Large Eddy Simulation(LES) of two-phase flows is investigated. This and other subgrid terms arepresented, we subsequently elaborate on the existing models for those andre-formulate the ADM-{\tau} model for sub-grid surface tension previouslypublished by these authors. This paper presents a substantial, conceptualsimplification over the original model version, accompanied by a decrease inits computational cost. At the same time, it addresses the issues the originalmodel version faced, e.g. introduces non-isotropic applicability criteria basedon resolved interface's principal curvature radii. Additionally, this paperintroduces more throughout testing of the ADM-{\tau}, in both simple andcomplex flows.
